This week proved a bit challenging for me and my 365 Project. My husband’s job has morphed a bit recently and so he has been out of town a lot—really this entire Week 7 was just me and my little. Sometimes it’s just about survival mode over here and between my Ft Worth newborn photographer work, caring for my son and taking care of all the other household odds and ends, I found it hard to squeeze in taking a photo a day. I somehow still managed to pull through, but I will say it was really hard and most of my photos took place sometime between dinner and bedtime as I suddenly realized I hadn’t met my commitment for the day! I guess I can still say I checked all the boxes this week though, and that’s an accomplishment!
40/366: My little boy writing his name in all his Valentine cards. So sweet!
41/366: Prepping for an image reveal at my residential studio. I love days where I get to show parents the finished images from their sessions. Plus, I am offering the coolest new wooden blocks (which I wrote about here) and this image reveal is the first chance I had to show parents a mock-up.
42/366: Ooops—forgot to take a photo today until it was almost too late. Pulled out the tripod and got a snuggle snap as I did nightly reading with my son.
43/366: Holden and I spent the afternoon doing some wedding activities with my sister. Afterward we stopped at her apartment for some time with her puppy, Max. Holden and Max are both FULL of energy.
44/366: Eyelashes. Why is it that little boys always have the most gorgeous lashes?
45/366: My little sweetheart opening his Valentine’s Day gift.
46/366: TV dinner. The end of a long week without my husband. After a week full of photo sessions, basketball practice, wedding activities, sister activities, church, grocery, gym, library, multiple park visits I am burned out and ready for him to come home. I finally succumbed to letting the little watch some TV during dinner. Feeling like a bad mom, but the Nick Jr. commercial likes to remind me that Paw Patrol teaches teamwork, so it can’t be all bad, right??

That’s so cool that you do newborn photography in Ft worth and also lifestyle stuff. I am always trying to remember to bring out my DSLR more, but it is so heavy! Thanks for the inspiration
