One of my greatest joys as a DFW baby photographer is watching a family as they grow over time. The Martyn’s first came to me in the spring of 2015 with the exciting news that their family of three would soon become four. We had a great family session at the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens, capped off with a few special reveal photos that they used to let their family know of the pregnancy.
Fast forward a year and some months later and here is baby R, aged 7 months, visiting my DFW baby studio. As a newborn and baby photography specialist, I clearly love taking pictures of all babies. However, I will confess that the sitter milestone is probably my favorite. Babies are really starting to express their personalities, and this converges with the exact time that they can’t yet run from the camera!!
Reid was a perfect example of this stage. He was a little overwhelmed with the camera, setup and lights at first, but quickly warmed up. I just love his beautiful baby blue eyes.
We also managed to nab a few pictures with big brother–no easy feat when you’re working with a 2 year old and an infant!
