DFW Newborn Photographer | Meet Benjamin
Sweet Benjamin’s DFW newborn session was such a delight! This little guy arrived a few weeks early, and spent awhile in the NICU, so he wasn’t able to visit the the studio right away. Thankfully, he is now healthy and at home in his parents arms.
I think the NICU prepared him well for photos, because this guy slept like a champ through poses and noise. I really think he only opened his eyes twice over the course of 3 hours. Plus, I give him a gold medal for only pooping on me once. I’m sure that sounds gross to folks who aren’t newborn photographers, but trust me–being pooped on only one time is really gold star material.
Oh my goodness, did I mention the hair??? I have seen a lot of babes with hair this year, so folks must be eating a lot of spicy foods or whatever they say makes babies come out with hair. Lil’ Ben takes the cake though. He has a full ‘do going on, plus, if you look closely–the boy has natural highlights. The most gorgeous hue of chestnut brown with streaks of gold. People pay top dollar for those kind of locks! He is so handsome, and I made sure to take a few extra pictures just of his mane.
Benjamin’s mommy and daddy are also TCU alums…so we had to pull out the purple blanket! I actually did my undergrad at LSU, so I like to refer to it as my LSU purple blanket…but since TCU is in a different conference, I made an exception and allowed this little guy to rebrand it as TCU for the day. Just for the day though, mind you. Also, Benjamin was a natural with that football. Sometimes this pose can be challenging, but this guy rocked it…so if he ends up being a TCU player one day then mom and dad will have this photo to look back and and know where it all started.
