I was so excited to welcome little Walker back into my studio last weekend. I first photographed Walker as a newborn, so it was an absolute joy to be asked to photograph his first birthday/cake smash. One of my absolute favorite parts about being a DFW newborn photographer is getting to follow up on babies throughout their first year of life, and being the person who gets to document their most important milestones. Such a cool job perk.
Anyway, Walker looks nothing like he did as a newborn! I remember him having dark tones in his skin and very brown hair, but for his session on Saturday he was a little blondie with fair skin. Here’s a look back, or you can check out Walker’s newborn blog post.
His parents said that our session was technically during his usual naptime, so I give Walker major props for holding it together through an entire photo shoot. He was an angel kid, really never crying at all. Sometimes I got the cutest quizzical faces from him, but also a lot of smiles and smirks.
