This week marked the conclusion of September, so I guess we can officially say it’s Fall Y’all.
It was a rather routine week for this DFW baby photographer. I was glad to see the sunshine a few times, which always helps with my overall demeanor.
Both of my kids were teething last week. The baby’s first molar is protruding, and my six year old has an adult tooth growing in. He has yet to lose any teeth, and the adult tooth is actually coming in behind his baby tooth. He kept complaining about a sore spot in his mouth, and then I finally realized he was grouching about the jagged edge of a new tooth. So, even though I had my kids 5.5 years apart, they can apparently be teething at the same time. Exciting story I know.

It amuses me how Holden still finds entertainment in some of Judd’s toys. This popper has been the source of much conflict over the past few weeks as the brothers figure out how to ‘share’ it.

H earned a special treat, and he chose to have us bring Chic Fil A up to him at school. He was so excited to have both parents and baby brother in attendance. I heard from his teacher that it was all he could focus on that day. Love seeing this little face at school and in his element.

Baby J was due for a haircut, and our favorite hairdresser/neighbor came over to tackle the job. After she finished with Judd she offered to trim up Holden’s curly mane too. You can’t beat the convenience of an in-home hair appointment!

After a month of washouts, H finally had his first soccer game of the season!
