My boy showing off his two missing baby teeth. He had an adult tooth growing up behind his baby tooth on the bottom. It wasn’t going anywhere, so the dentist finally pulled it. While the area was already numb, the dentist went ahead and pulled the tooth beside the original one because the x-ray showed it was going to have the same issue in a matter of weeks. Thus, my sons first visit from the tooth fairy garnered him twice the funds as he had two teeth to offer instead of just one. I was worried the tooth pulling situation would be traumatic, but H took it in stride and was not phased at all. He was, however, somewhat disappointed that the tooth fairy only brought $1/tooth…he’s been hearing rumors at school that some kids get $10 per tooth. What the what y’all. Stop that monkey business because it’s only making it harder on all of us. This is H’s first lost tooth, and it kind of made me sad. I know he is a big boy, but this is such an abrupt physical marker of his growing up.

Poor Baby J has been dealing with 5 teeth erupting teeth, and also a lingering ear infection. It’s nice to capture those moments of joy when the Tylenol is doing its job.

I can’t believe we went from wearing coats and mittens a week ago, and then yesterday it was nearly 90 degrees again. Baby J doesn’t seem to mind though, as he it means he can enjoy backyard bubble time.
