DFW BABY PHOTOGRAPHER | PROJECT 365 | WEEK 44
| 365 Pumpkin carving time. H tried to convince me that he could do the actual pumpkin carving this year. I tried giving him a shot with one of our less intimidating knives, but it became apparently in two seconds that he wasn’t cut out for the job. #punintended However, I was pleasantly surprised that H was willing to scoop out the pumpkin guts as a consolation prize. I rather enjoyed outsourcing that job to the child.
| 365 Self-portrait masquerade style. Trying to get into the Halloween spirit. Selfies with a DSLR and a self-timer are not my jam. I do not know how other people do such a good job at it. I would love to get more photos featuring myself and my children, but I really struggle with the whole tripod/self-timer thing. I took 50 shots with this mask on, and this is literally the only one where things are even remotely in the frame and in focus. So, I gave up and this is what you get.
| 365 Halloween. Captain Holden and Jurassic Judd.
| 365 Going on week three of mega teeth eruption and ear infection for this little guy. He is a clingy, whiny mess who is constantly underfoot begging for us to pick him up.
| 365 Practicing those spelling words.
| 365 Soccer season is coming to a close. With all the rain we had in October there are a bunch of games crammed into the last two weeks of the season. This was game 1 of 2 for the weekend.
| 365 Promise I didn’t cheat here—my son is wearing the same soccer clothes because he had two games in the same weekend. We hit up Home Depot following the Sunday afternoon game and H wanted to browse the Christmas aisle. I love me some Christmas, but it’s too early!! Calm down consumerism.
