Last week we pulled out Holden’s old “Baby Einstein” DVDs to test them out on our newest family member. Baby J isn’t really into TV or movies yet, which is probably for the best, but I will confess that I’m looking forward to the day when he has enough interest in shows that I can at least pop one in while I nab a shower. The “Baby Einstein” feature was a mild success, he sat still on Daddy’s lap and ate a bunch of snacks. I guess that’s a win.

First day of Thanksgiving break and I made the boy rake leaves. Oh well, there is plenty of time for fun in the remaining 9 days of school holiday.

Baby J has taken to carrying his stuffed bunny around the house. We have been pushing a lovey object on him for awhile, hoping it will provide comfort when we transition away from his pacifier at night (which is happening any day now). So glad to see he is finally bonding with a snuggle buddy, and hoping it eases the sting of the pacifier going bye-bye.

‘Tis the season for boxes to start showing up in mass. Good thing kids love boxes!

Charlie’s parents and his grandpa were in for an early Thanksgiving week visit. So good to see them around the holidays, and of course we got an obligatory 3 generations of Parker Men photo. Can’t say Baby J was having it, but we tried.
