Treated to a mid-week magic show courtesy of Holden. All I can say is thank goodness I’m a boy mom, and that H usually only has a hankering to put on a performance a handful of times a year. There was much build-up to this event, as H created posters and tickets for all of us to attend and then made us wait for three whole days before actually doing his magic trick show. I’m not a huge fan of these types of kid shows, but is precious and that made it tolerable.

Santa brought Baby J a set of ear tubes for an early Christmas gift. The surgery went well, and I am looking forward to fewer ear infections and also the fact that his ears won’t be so clogged with fluid that perhaps he can actually hear us and start talking a little more!

Celebrating Holden’s 7th birthday a few days early with family. It’s so fun at this age when you see the joy in their eyes as they open a gift. He was SUPER pumped about this Battle Bot Hexbug arena. It was the first thing he wanted out of the box, and then the last thing he played with before bed. It was also the first toy he wanted to play with the following morning.
