My final week of Project 365 | 2018.
It’s been worth it, but definitely challenging. I am thrilled with all the beautiful, meaningful images I captured of my family this year. I hope you enjoyed following along with me.
I’m not sure yet if I will continue this into 2019. I guess I better make a decision within the next 24 hour though, seeing as it is New Years Eve. Right now, I just want to bask in the excitement of actually finishing this project. It is a big commitment, and sometimes it is refreshing to pause in the moment and truly celebrate our accomplishments.
Wishing you and yours a Happy New Year!
XO

H got a few new games for Christmas/his birthday. Right now Battleship and UNO are the ones he requests we play the most often. I actually really enjoy card games, so it’s fun that he is old enough to understand the strategy and truly play with his father and me.

Another fun Christmas gift–a set of glow in the dark space-themed perler beads. I love that he went off script and decided to make his own creation rather than follow the included instructions. He made up some kind of Star Wars battleship. He was very concentrated, and made sure the ship was just so. I fondly recall playing perler beads with my BFF in 4th grade, so it’s fun to see my son take an interest in them too.

Who doesn’t live in their PJs over winter break?

NYE!! Party time!! By party time, I mean so far I have taken one kid to the doctor, went on a family walk, went to two grocery stores, the library and Chic Fil A before noon. Now I’m ready to sit back, relax, enjoy my queso and watch some football. But, I’m a parent so basically that’s a pipe dream.
