It was a slightly quieter week for this DFW baby photographer. My oldest had daycamp, so he was gone most of the week and it was just me and baby J. I was super excited though because baby J really stepped up his walking game last week. He took his first series of steps about a month ago, but never really progressed from that point. My oldest took his first steps and then was basically running within a week, so I was just not prepared for this sluggish progress. I mean, it’s not like baby J walking will make my life any easier, but it is always a joy to see your children develop.

We spend our days going up and down the hallway, up and down the hallway with push toys. To be honest, it’s very mundane and tortuously boring when you spend every day alone doing this on repeat. But, I’m sure one day I will look back on these days in fondness.

Still missing our Bailey dog, and trying to give our other dog some extra love as he adjusts to not having his sister around.

We rarely go out to eat as a family, because it’s expensive and also just plain annoying to eat at restaurants with children. But, we made an exception to try this new Latin street food place I’ve had my eye on. Super yummy, if you live in the Keller area definitely give Boca 31 a go. My son finished his meal off with a mango Popsicle.

Did I mention that we spend all day, every day playing with the push toys? Yup…at it again.
