I closed out April this week with my Project 365. I will be posting a collage from all of April later on, as I love seeing a full months’ worth of photos together. There is something so gratifying about having it altogether in one piece like that. As a Ft Worth baby photographer, it is so neat to have this outlet for my personal photos.
Anyway, this week was kind of ho-hum. Nothing terribly outside of the ordinary. My little guy had a cold, so that kept things kind of slow around here. Also, I randomly had an allergic reaction to some antibiotics and was covered in a crazy itchy rash for the majority of the week. I’m sure that’s TMI, but seriously–did you know that you can randomly have an allergic reaction to antibiotics that you’ve previously been fine with?? I did not, so that’s info to know my readers. I got bitten by a tick while in Arkansas a few weeks ago, and the spot wasn’t healing. So, the doctor put me on some preventative antibiotics to reduce the likelihood of a tick-borne illness. As it turns out, I am allergic to that particular medicine and I was clawing my skin off all week. So, so miserable and I was in a Benadryl haze for much of the week just trying to function. I promise I didn’t include any rash photos in my 365. You’re welcome.
Okay, on to Week 18.
Ft Worth Baby Photographer | Project 365 | Week 18

118/366: Weekly grocery trip.

119/366: It’s the little things in life. My boy getting himself some ice water. Don’t mind the ridiculous amount of fingerprints on the fridge. Could I have Photoshopped that out—yes, yes I could. But, I’m feeling lazy and I bet your fridge has finger prints too.

120/366: I am not a coffee person, but I desperately want to be. I need caffeine in my system to survive, and that usually means drinking a soda per day. I am currently trying to reduce my sugar intake, and obviously the first step in doing so is to give up soda. Really, soda is my main vice as I don’t eat a lot of other processed foods, so giving up soda is the last hurrah and then I will be in a really good place sugar-wise. Anyway, I recently had a friend clue me in to cold-brew coffee and it is a game changer!! I started forcing myself to substitute a cold brew coffee with a splash of milk and a teaspoon of chocolate syrup and it tastes…passable. Anyway, I have successfully subbed in this coffee concoction 5 out of the last 7 days and eliminated my daily dose o’ DP. The recipe I’ve been using is HERE.

121/366: Waiting.
Holden waiting for Daddy to arrive home. He and the dogs basically throw a party every time my husband gets home. My windows are covered in fingerprints and doggy nose prints.
We also spent Saturday evening making some homemade berry cobbler. Yumm.

122/366: The splash park lives again! I made the mistake of promising my boy that we would go to the Splashpark after a church event on Sunday, but the problem was it was only 75 degrees! He still had the best time, even if it only lasted about 20 minutes.

123/366: Playtime.
