Ft Worth Newborn Photographer | Baby Henry

All babies are special, which is what makes my job as a Ft. Worth newborn photographer so amazing. I love tiny little humans and photographing their precious first days of life. Baby Henry’s newborn session was particularly special though as I have the privilege of being good friends with his mommy and family.

My ties with the Matens go back to my days at LSU, so we’ve witnessed the passage of many life stages—college, young married life and babies. Henry is the second little boy to join their family, and I was so blessed that this family came to visit my Ft. Worth newborn photography studio for his portraits.

This little guy was a whopper, all chub and rolls, which I love. He was really content and sleepy, and definitely enjoyed cuddle time. I got some good looks from Henry when I would put him down, as he mostly wanted to stay in my arms.

I also love that his mommy brought in some special keepsakes to include in the session. We photographed Henry against a beautiful knit blue blanket, a special quilt made by his grandma and some nautical nursery décor. It is always fun when I get to spice things up by including items that are unique to baby and family.

Family photos with three year old big brother were a little wild (as they always are with siblings!!) but I am excited that there are some good ones to share with mommy in her full gallery. For now, enjoy this sneak peek of Baby Henry!
