My little guy turned 5 yesterday! Can’t believe how fast the time has gone. We are so blessed to have this feisty, silly, sweet boy in our lives.
As a DFW newborn photographer, I always make it a priority to take dedicated birthday photos of my own boy. Plus, since his birthday is in December I usually snag a few family pictures as well. Kill two birds with one stone kind of thing. Well, I am expecting this year and have had a lot of trouble dealing with hyperemisis. There were weeks where I was barely able to get out of bed, much less operate a camera! I was so, so devastated about the prospect of not being able to take photos of my boy this year.
Thankfully, after a few weeks on a zofran pump I have been able to rally somewhat and got a few pictures of my kiddo. Not the usual marathon of pictures that I’m used to, but this was a MAJOR accomplishment and something I am so, so happy to have been able to do. It’s the little things people.

Your little guy is so cute! I can’t believe we are both due with our second babies in the same month. Too bad because I really wanted to have you as my Ft Worth newborn photographer. I’ll have to get in touch about a cake smash or sitter session instead.
