My first baby’s first day of elementary school is in the books. Of course, as a DFW newborn photographer photographer, I had to take about a MILLION photos leading up to this milestone. Poor kid had to endure a studio session AND some cutesy, stylized photos out in nature. Par for the course with a momtographer and he will just have to get used to it. It also helps that he knows the drill now–if he cooperates there is a DQ blizzard waiting for him at the finish line. I am a big fan of bribery and I don’t care who knows it. #briberyworks
It’s so true that the days are long but the years are short. It seems like just yesterday this little guy was born, and I think I am having an especially strong case of nostalgia because his little brother is just 2 months old. I am loving their age gap at the moment, because I’ve got one freshly baked baby and the other launching into real deal school–it makes the passage of time seem even that much shorter.
Sorry for the massive amount of photos in this blog, but this proud mama bear is excited to share. Oh, and in case you’re wondering the boy reports that his first day was “amazing,” and that his least favorite thing was “nothing, because I loved everything.”
