As a Ft Worth newborn photographer and Ft Worth baby photographer, I am so excited to introduce a new product—wood blocks! In this digital age, we often neglect to print photos and, as I’ve written about many times before, I can’t stress enough how important it is to invest in quality pieces that the next generations can look to as part of their heritage and history. These wooden photoblocks have quickly become a favorite item of mine and I can’t wait to print our fall family photos as part of a wood block collection.
What is a wood block?
Images are printed and adhered to a wood block—they are not printed directly on the wood. This allows for photographs to retain the highest quality. Images are then covered in a protective layer for water and light resistance. This protection layer gives the wood print a unique, hand painted look. I love these items because they are timeless and classic, the total epitome of why I love photography. Your baby’s photograph truly becomes an heirloom piece. These beauties are hand made in the Netherlands and will become a true focal point in your home. In addition to wood prints, these are also vintage wooden letters, reclaimed wood frames and other amazing products offered with this line. Feel free to email me for a digital mock-up from your session (this includes anyone for whom I’ve done family or child portraits, not just newborn and baby photos).
