This Keller baby photographer has officially completed week 1 of my Project 365. Honestly, this week was a breeze. I had the oldest minion home for winter break. We mainly stayed indoors due to the cold weather, but when you have a six year old and a six month old, there is always something going on to photograph.
I know from experience that the first few weeks of a Project 365 are usually fairly easy, and once I get past photographing the obvious I will likely have to start using my brain more. One thing I am excited about is starting an online course in documentary and lifestyle photography tomorrow. I usually take one or two classes a year, just to keep fresh with my photography and find new ways to challenge myself outside the boundaries of my traditional baby and newborn portraiture gig.
Anyway, my big boy goes back to school tomorrow so I suspect that week 2 of your friendly DFW newborn photographer’s project 365 will be more baby Judd centered. Here is what we were up to this last week of holiday break:

What a fun project! I bet you enjoy doing something different than baby photography.

I like the fisheye and macro stuff that you do. Kind of cool to follow someone else who is a newborn and baby photographer that also does lifestyle stuff with their own family. I do that kind of work too. I live in Dallas, but I see you are in Keller area so we should meet up.

You are such a talented baby photographer in Keller, Texas. I adore your images and can’t wait to contact you about a newborn session once I am pregnant again.
Jamie says
Cool that you used different types of lenses throughout the week, including fisheye and macro. Do you ever do macros for your baby photography?
heather says
I do! I love capturing the details like little hands, feet, toes, lips and noses! Macro photography is great for that.

I enjoy when you invite us into your personal life through projects such as 365! It’s nice to see your photographer talents extend beyond baby photography in Keller!

Oh wow this is a really great post! I am so used to see samples of your work as a Keller baby photographer, this is really fun!

I recently did a 365 day project around Keller! It was really tough, but so worth it. You will find that it will make you a better baby photographer and newborn photographer. You will start to see things in a totally different way. Best wishes on your journey!

It’s always a pleasure to visit your blog about being a baby photographer in Keller. Your kiddos are precious, and now I have Rocket Man stuck in my head (thanks a lot! LOL)!
Marissa says
I’m so excited to watch you through this journey. I usually follow you to see cute baby and newborn pictures from around Keller and Ft Worth, but this should be a fun peek into your regular life.
Brandy says
Neat-o. Will be watching this in addition to your regularly scheduled baby and newborn posts.
Caitlin says
I live in Trophy Club and love watching your Project 365. We go to a lot of the same places, and it makes me want to tote my camera around and get better pictures of my kids.
