I am so blessed to have been completely booked this fall, but it has definitely been a whirlwind! I visited the Dallas Arboretum’s Pumpkin Village back in October with the model in residence and with all that has been going on with H. Parker Photography, I never got around to fully editing those photos. I think the window on fall photos is closing fast, and in just a few weeks the pumpkin photos will need to get the boot to make way for the holidays, so I decided I better get this taken care of! Plus, in case you haven’t noticed I love my munchkin and I have a habit of over-sharing his adorableness. The cute bowtie/suspenders sets are from Melody of Cuteness Accessories. If you are ever struggling with a good way to dress up your little man, she has some great options in thousands of patters, colors and textures! I think she even has a Black Friday sale going on through her Etsy shop, so go see what that’s all about. As a boy-mom, I can attest that it is super difficult to find cute clothes for your little gents, so her shop is one of my favs. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Look at these cuties! I was so worried about getting good smiles from these guys because the last time I met with them (about a month ago) we endured a nasty yellow jacket attack. Daddy was stung several times and ended up at urgent care and their middle girl also suffered at least one sting. It was the most traumatic and chaotic session I have ever done in 3 years, and I know it was awful for the Orlando family too. I was so sad and so sorry that this happened, and I was really worried that upon our second meeting the kiddos might still be traumatized just by my mere presence. Thankfully the little ones seemed unphased, especially once the marshmallows came out for bribery time. Beautiful, happy faces and I am so glad the family agreed to get all dolled up again and give this a second go.

Baby W was a dream during his newborn session yesterday morning at my residential studio in Roanoke/N. Fort Worth. He was just a bit early and a little peanut who loved snuggling into a teeny, tiny ball. So precious! Plus, this guy was a serious sleeper. The only time he really protested about the whole picture taking business was when I tried to stretch him out of his curly pose and into something more relaxed. Other than a lot of bathroom breaks this little dude did fantastic! Enjoy the preview!

Keller Newborn Photographer l Baby C

Baby C visited my residential studio in Roanoke, TX yesterday for his newborn photos! This guy was a few weeks early, so I expected a little peanut but he was all cheeks and squish–so adorable!

Mom requested a lot of ivory, grey and blues so I chose a pretty neutral color palette for Baby C which is honesty my favorite for boys. Plus, Mom brought along a gorgeous navy knit blanket that I was able to incorporate into a few images. It is always nice when parents bring something extra that speaks to their family and baby’s personality.

Baby C was a fabulous little one to work with–he was so sleepy and snug. I paid for it by getting peed on a few times, but I am totally cool with because this man slept through it all. Mom is also a labor & delivery nurse and she was really chill about the whole ‘having a newborn’ thing, which I think often reflects onto baby and helps keep the whole environment supportive, loving and calm. I couldn’t have asked for a better baby to spend my morning with yesterday, and I am loving going through his images.
