If only you could see the behind the scenes images from Mr. H’s one year session! This little dude wanted absolutely NOTHING to do with me…or with getting his photos taken. I told his parents it was payback because at his newborn session Mr. H was an angel–I mean the kid even let us put him into a pumpkin that day.

I usually save the cake smash part of a 1st birthday session until the end, but Mr. H made us pull out all the stops and after several failed attempts at getting the little guy to grin we went ahead and had dessert first. Thankfully, that worked like a charm! Mr. H definitely has a sweet tooth and the waterworks soon made way to giggles and grins.
