I met up with this awesome family earlier in the week for some family photos before their son heads off to the Navy. It was definitely a hot, steamy August afternoon, so major props to these guys for toughing it out.

I spend a lot of time photographing young children, babies and families with very young children, so it is always nice to get to be around adults. They listen so well–hehe!! Plus, I am inspired and happy whenever a family takes the time and effort to coordinate pictures with their teen and adult children. I know it will be a great thing to look back on one day and have good documentation of how their family has changed over time.
