I can’t believe that Mr. J is celebrating his first birthday this week! It seems he was just in here for his newborn photographs and now we are already at cake smash time. I loved having the opportunity to photograph this little guy through his first year–in fact, I did his mother’s maternity photos before he was even born. This guy started walking about 10 months, so he was already running all around the studio and we had to do some serious wrangling to get a few non-cake smash images of him. Then the cake came out and he showed some interest in that 🙂 Hopefully his intro to cake in the studio last weekend will make him brave to try out his cake at his party next week. Enjoy the preview! Trophy Club Family Photographer l 2015 Bluebonnet Mini Sessions

Just last week we were contending with snow and ice, but the thaw has happened and the beautiful weather today inspired me to go ahead and setup my Bluebonnet Mini announcement!

I’m a native Texan girl, and those bluebonnet photos are some of my favorites all year. CLICK HERE to check out some images of my son in the bluebonnets from last year.

I fully expect a gorgeous season with all the moisture we’ve gotten in the last few weeks. I also love to check out the Texas Bluebonnet sightings page to keep tabs on all the best locations and first signs of bluebonnet life!

Session Details

April 18th

$110 – Kids only

$145 – Families

All sessions are 20 minutes long and come with 7 high resolution digital images with copyright release. The date is subject to change based on when bluebonnets actually sprout, and location will not be set until the flowers bloom. Most likely locations are Grapevine or Westlake.

Clients must pay full session fee at time of booking, although if I have to change the date then I will honor refunds for scheduling conflicts.

Happy 1st Birthday to Miss R! She started her session off pretty happy, but as our tour through the Dallas Arboretum continued it became clear that Miss R was about ready to be done with me and my camera. Thankfully her Mommy and Grandma were there to help elicit some beautiful grins and smiles! You have to love the extremes shown here–just a perfect documentation of what it’s like to be 1.

Trophy Club Baby Photographer |Miss E & Miss A 6 Months

These little girls have grown so much since I met them as newborns. I am in love with their beautiful eyes and long, pretty lashes. So jealous! Also, mom picks some of the cutest outfits. I love how the girls are coordinating, but not super matchy-matchy. Plus, who can resist a good baby ballerina photo?

The biggest obstacle in a photo shoot with adorable little girls like this is simply getting both girls to be happy and adorable at the same time. Thankfully, we got some precious images featuring both of their smiling faces. I am also a big fan of their solo photos–these girls were just stinking adorable. Can’t wait to see them again for their 9 month session!

Oh my goodness–Mr. L totally gave his parents and I a run for the money! He showed up to the studio all warm, snuggly and sleepy in his carrier–but things changed quickly once he decided it was food time. After some milk, some cuddles and even a short car ride, Mr. L was ready for his photos. It was worth the wait though, as Mr. L was in zzzzz land for the remainder of our session and let me pose him so beautifully for his newborn session.

Mr. L is also one of my Baby Step babies–meaning I’ll get to see him again three more times over the next year–one of my favorite things to do as a photographer is document these little ones as they grow through that first year.
