Mr. J was basically an angel for his 6 month photo shoot. It was surprisingly chilly that morning and yet he was happy as could be in his super cute suspender set. He was all smiles and happy faces–I have so many photos to choose from it’s almost impossible to wean things down.

Miss E is my latest baby steps graduate!! Her mom had the cutest little setup for her 1st birthday/cake smash photos this past weekend. Who can resist a pretty little girl with all that pink? LOVE it!
At her last session, this little girl wanted absolutely nothing to do with me, but since there was some cake involved this time around she got used to the idea of having her photos taken. She was really digging that cake, enjoying a yummy breakfast of frosting. Cake smashes are one of my favorite things to do because babies are typically just so awe-stuck, confused and excited all at the same time–you get so many cute faces and silly grins.

Baby T was a total ham for his photo session over on the Trinity Trails in Ft. Worth. I couldn’t believe how well behaved he was, and how many effortless smiles he had. He really was a little angel for his photo session, and I love that so many of his photos feature a big grin with those cute baby teeth.
Baby T turned 1 a few weeks ago, and Mom brought along his special baseball birthday t-shirt, as well as his baptism outfit. He looked precious in both, but I can’t help but adore the ones of him in his little baptism outfit with the bonnet. Major props to that little boy for keeping his bonnet on–I was expecting that thing to get launched within a second.

Baby E is totally squeezable! He’s just got little rolls everywhere, and I love it!!
We visited the vintage train depot in downtown Grapevine for the 9 month portion of Baby E’s “Baby Steps” plan. I can’t believe he’s already 9 months–actually almost 10 months–and next time I see him will be for his big ONE!
Mom chose an adorable set of conductor overalls and even brought along a wooden train whistle to complete the theme. It was also great that Mr. E is such a happy baby and gave great, toothy grins through his whole session. It’s the middle of August and even if photos are taken in the morning hours things can get miserable pretty fast. So I’m always pleased with a little one warms up to me right away and gives those happy faces before we all melt.

Here’s another little one graduating from my Baby Steps plan!! I can never believe how quickly the time goes.
What I love about Mr. W is how he has the same face from Day 1. So many babies have their appearance change very drastically from one shoot to the next, but Mr. W has remained constant with those big, blue eyes. I bet he will have that same adorable face at 40!
I always love a good cake smash, and Mr. W had his fun with all that icing. I think he will be well prepared for his actual birthday party in a few weeks.

Happy (early) Birthday to Miss K, another one of my gorgeous Baby Steps grads!!
I am so in love with the beautiful locks that Miss K has had pretty much since birth. She is just one of the cutest little kiddos I’ve been around, and I love that for her cake smash she was all smiles.
Mom did a great job putting together the precious Minnie Mouse theme, and who can resist a cute little girl covered in pink frosting?

Happy (early) birthday to Baby K as he is about to turn 1 and become the latest graduate from my Baby Steps plan!
Mr. K has been a bit of a serious fellow for me throughout his sessions, but I was so happy that this time around we did a really early morning shoot and captured his sweet personality. Apparently, Mr. K is just a morning person.
I loved his little overall outfit and how it went perfect with the train depot in downtown Grapevine. After a few 1st birthday photos, we moved on over to a patch of grass so Mr. K could enjoy a breakfast feast of cake smash.

Happy 1st Birthday to Miss R! She started her session off pretty happy, but as our tour through the Dallas Arboretum continued it became clear that Miss R was about ready to be done with me and my camera. Thankfully her Mommy and Grandma were there to help elicit some beautiful grins and smiles! You have to love the extremes shown here–just a perfect documentation of what it’s like to be 1.
