Summertime is over (finally!!) and my little man is back to school. He and I have both been looking forward to this day, as I prefer a little more routine in life and he loves hanging with his friends on a daily basis. Of course, now that he is gone the house feels eerily quiet to this DFW newborn photographer.

It’s basically required in this Pinterest-era to have some kind of elaborate back to school sign for your kids. I mean, if they don’t pose with a poster for the first day, did it even really happen??  I am a gold medalist in Pinterest-fails, so I went the digital route instead. We took some in the studio, and I obviously had to capture some stuff for the first morning of drop off.

Maybe next year I’ll see about offering these posters to all my clients as back to school mini sessions!! Who’s in?
