Happy (early) Birthday to Miss M!

Miss M is my latest “Baby Steps” graduate. The Baby Steps plan is a great way to document your child’s first year of life–I meet up for a mini sessions every 3-4 months to take photos of how your little munchkin is changing! Apparently fall 2013 was a really good time for babies to be born, because Miss M is the fifth baby I’ve had graduate in the last week!! There has been lots of cake flying around my studio and out on location–sweet memories!

Miss M has the sweetest little face and has been a little angel for all of our meetings. I will definitely miss her now that we are done with our 1st year plan, but Mom promises I’ll see her again in the spring for a family session.

For her birthday and final Baby Steps session, we met at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens. Mom brought along Miss M’s Halloween outfit, as well as a “1” pumpkin. After taking some photos around the gardens, we broke out the cake and let Miss M dig in. She was pretty dainty about the whole experience and needed a little coaching to get into it. Mom says Miss M is a veggie lover though, so I guess that was to be expected.
